From the Balkans to Mesopotamia, the Kardeş Türküler Project keeps these lands’ original melodies and dances alive without losing their originality. For thirty years, they have been carrying hundreds of years of stories to every corner of the world, from Istanbul to Australia, from Morocco to Europe. The aptly named Kardeş Türküler (Fraternity of Songs) began to perform its music nourished by all richness and, in its own words, “the hope of living together in brotherhood in a multicultural geography”.
Tuluğ Tırpan, the original musical project architect, accompanies the group with his jazz music embellished with local motifs. In this concert where polarisations and prejudices will disappear and bridges of brotherhood and sisterhood will be built through music, your heart will warm up with familiar songs, even if they are in different languages, and you will be left with unforgettable memories forever.
